Survived Day One

First day of my first National FFA Convention trip and I survived.  This was my first flying experience and it wasn't too bad.  The first plane was a little rough and the landing a little abrupt, but nothing to harsh.  What was harsh though was my exposure to Caishalynne and Bradie Jill, I forgot how forward they are and how much in love they are with me.  I will have to keep my distance.

In other news, our cars were too small for all of the luggage the women packed and we had to hold suitcases on our laps on the way to the hotel.  I lucked out with my roommate and got Koleman!!  We ate at Joe's Crab Shack at the River Front Park in downtown Louisville.  It was pretty neat. Caish won the crazy person dance contest at the restaurant and got a free t-shirt, hopefully that win is a sign of good things to come.  I took like a million pictures on the water front of the girls on the team posing in all sorts of weird ways while Koleman harvested mussels off the side of the pier.

Pretty excited for tomorrow, going to Churchhill Downs to see the Horses practice in the morning, maybe I'll even see a John Deere or two working the track!!  Mrs. SIlcox says to be sure to make time to watch convention this week.  She will send you an email .
